Beware of home inspectors that are willing to generate onsite reports, most of the time these are computer generated comments and may contain flaws. We believe that every high quality home inspection report will require set number of hours to generate. Our reports utilized a checkbox rating system along with narrative descriptions. Each report also contains a section which further explains how to read the report. Observation points are unique to the subject property and never software generated. REPORT FORMATS
Report summary - All our reports have a summary section in front which will give a quick overview of all the house defects and concerns. All these items are further clarified in more details within the respective components of the house. Many clients and lawyers find that our report summary easy to understand and straight to the point. House components - Each report includes all the major components of the house with the sub-components broken down with details on materials and component descriptions. Each section has general comments which many customers find useful as they can be a quick reference guide in the future. The specific house observations are clearly detailed under each house component. Rating checklist - The reports also includes rating checklists that give a quick snapshot of the observed item. Pictures - Our reports include pictures where necessary to help explain the defect/concern all printed in high resolution color pages. We also include positive aspects of the house as well. Any ongoing maintenance issues are clearly stated in our reports. |
